The Knights of Columbus is an international service fraternity founded by Fr. Michael J. McGivney in the 19th century. It is composed of many local chapters. At St. Agnes Parish, our Council number is 10613.
Our Council established its central service project to be providing parking security during all Masses on Sundays and holy days of obligation. In addition to this ongoing commitment, the Knights have faithfully served St. Agnes in numerous ways: assisting the pastor and other ministries within our parish; supporting youth group activities; participating in pro-life events; distributing food to the needy; and visiting the sick and homebound.
In order to fund its central service project as well as the other smaller projects it undertakes, the Council conducts frequent fundraisers, including: parish dinners, seasonal altar flower sales, football game boards, and various raffles. Through teamwork on these fundraisers, Council family social gatherings, and communal prayer, the Knights have developed a warm, fraternal camaraderie.
The St. Agnes Council of the Knights of Columbus meets at 6:30 pm in the Meeting Room on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Our meeting is preceded by a fraternal recitation of the Rosary at 6:15 pm.
Membership is open to any practicing Catholic man 18 years of age and older. Dues are $30.00 per year. To inquire about joining our Council, please send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org or use this link
