Funerals are liturgical celebrations of the Church: expressing communion with the deceased (love never dies) and the proclamation of eternal life.
All the sacraments, and principally those of Christian initiation, have as their goal the last Passover of the child of God which, through death, leads him into the life of the Kingdom. Then what he confessed in faith and hope will be fulfilled: “I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.”
~ CCC 1680
Funeral arrangements are made by having the family calling the Parish Office, 383-4127 and the Funeral Home of their choice. The funeral home and the parish office work together on the arrangements.
The church fee is $100.
If the family wants music (organist and cantor), please make those arrangements with the following musicians. The music fee is not included in the church fee.

Readings at the Funeral Mass:
The family may choose the readings for the Funeral Mass, from the attached readings here. The First Reading is from the Old Testament;
the Responsorial Psalm is from the Psalms, and the Second Reading is from the New Testament. The Priest chooses the Gospel Reading.
When Fr. Charbel is presiding at the funeral, please answer the questionnaire about the deceased so that Father will become familiar with your family member. Please answer the questions on a separate sheet of paper and turn it into the parish office.
Please contact your local florist.
