The Ushers provide a vital ministry to St. Agnes. Ushers are needed for each of the four weekend Masses: 4pm Vigil on Saturday and the 8am, 9:15am and 11am Sunday morning Masses.

The primary duties of the Ushers are to direct the communion lines, to make the celebrant aware of any handicapped person who needs to receive communion at his/her pew and to pass the collection baskets.

There are no regular meetings for this ministry, but periodic schedules are provided to all members so that all Masses will be provided with active, seasoned Ushers.

There is a continual need for Ushers; any man who would like to make a tangible contribution to the benefit of St. Agnes should seriously consider this ministry. There are no meetings, no dues and all responsibilities are performed during the time when one would already be in church so no “extra” time is required. Anyone wishing to become active in this ministry should call the Parish Office, 383-4127 and leave your name and phone number and a veteran Usher will be in contact with you.

Also, there is a need for an organized, dedicated man or woman to take charge of the Usher program. The job entails being in charge of the scheduling procedure at St. Agnes. if you are able to assist with this vital part of the Ushering program, please call the Parish office, 383-4127.
